Angel is a very well bred, impressive 16.3 hand Jockey Club Thoroughbred mare.  Her pedigree includes several Thoroughbred race winners but who are also known for producing wonderful sport horses with great minds, work ethics and athleticism.

Her sire, ARTAX, has race winnings over $1.6 million and was the 1999 Eclipse Sprinter Champion.  His sire, MARQUETRY, won over $2.8 million.  Marquetry is also a beautiful chestnut with great sabino markings over his knees.

Artax is also the sire to ARTRAGEOUS an up and coming sport horse stallion.

Angel's dam sire is HOUSTON.  Sire to the wonderful Thoroughbred Hunter & Sport Horse stallion NOBLE HOUSTON who is one of few TB's approved for warmblood breeding.  Houston had race winnings over $240k and is the son to the famous racing sire SEATTLE SLEW.

Other horses in her pedigree known for producing good sport horses are Vice Regent, Northern Dancer, Princequillo, Mr. Prospector and more.

Angel has been bred twice.  Both time she took on the first insemination.

Her first foal was born February 23, 2008.  She had a beautiful homozygous black AQHA Appendix colt.  He has a great disposition, correct conformation and looks like he will be quite the show stopper.

Angel has been bred to 17 hand Oldenburg stallion Gatsby by the Hanoverian stallion Gonzo I for a February 2009 foal.

Gatsby is known for producing foals with great minds and athletic versatility for jumping as well as dressage.  He stamps his foals with beautiful heads and fantastic necks not to mention height.  His sire, Gonzo I, was a Puissance winner jumping a wall at 7'2".  He also competed to 4th Level dressage.
